Laura Bicker BSc (Hons) TCM, BM, MATCM, MAFN
Laura started Oriental Health in 2005 and in the last 5years has become well known for Studied a five year Honours degree program at Middlesex University joint with Beijing University.
Laura graduated in 2005 after spending five months training intensively in Beijing, at two of the largest TCM hospitals in China. Laura is a fully licensed practitioner and member of The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The Acupuncture Fertility Network and The Newcastle Fertility Network.
After graduating in 2005 Laura started Oriental Health and opened her first clinic in Jesmond and most recently in 2009 The Ren Clinic in Durham. Laura specializes in the treatment of Fertility, IVF, Pregnancy Support and Miscarriage and has spent time training with some of the best practitioners in their field such as Jane Lyttleton, Charlie Buck, Sarah Budd and Nick Hudis. Other areas of interest include: Migraine, Sinusitis, Chronic Fatigue, and Menstrual Disorders.

In 2010 Wendy joined Oriental Health to support Laura through her pregnancy. The response to Wendy was so positive that Laura asked Wendy to join Oriental Health as assistant practitioner. Wendy is a fully licensed practitioner and a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine and the Newcastle Fertility Network.
In 1993 Wendy trained in Shiatsu, during which her interest in Chinese Medicine developed. After Graduating from her Shiatsu training in 1996 Wendy went on to study Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Studies in California, USA.
Whilst studying for her MSc, Wendy also undertook an additional internship with Isaac Cohen, internationally known for his TCM treatment and research work in relation to Breast Cancer.
Previously, Wendy worked as a Social Worker, specialising in Substance Dependency Problems for many years.
She has studied with Giovanni Maciocia, Jane Lyttleton, Charlie Buck, Isaac Cohen, Paul Lundberg, Clifford Andrews and Virgina Doran. She enjoys Qi Gong and has studied with Bisong Guo.
Wendy offers treatments to support most conditions. She has a particular supporting people living with cancer, fertility issues, menopause and muscular skeletal pain.
